Day-by-Day Journey
Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome at the airport, transfer to Dwarika's Hotel. Evening briefing with your expedition leader. Gourmet welcome dinner featuring authentic Newari cuisine.
Flight to Lukla – Phakding
Scenic mountain flight to Lukla (2,860m). Begin trek through pine forests to Phakding. Lunch at a riverside lodge, afternoon acclimatization walk.
Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Cross suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. Steep ascent to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest. Afternoon visit to the Sherpa Museum.
Acclimatization in Namche
Day hike to Everest View Hotel for panoramic views. Visit Khumjung village and its famous Yeti skull. Afternoon tea with a local Sherpa family.
Namche to Tengboche
Trek through rhododendron forests to Tengboche. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery with its backdrop of Ama Dablam. Sunset photography session.
Tengboche to Dingboche
Descend through birch forests to Imja Khola valley. Lunch at Pangboche. Afternoon arrival in Dingboche with views of Lhotse and Makalu.
Acclimatization in Dingboche
Morning hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100m). Afternoon photography workshop. Evening lecture on Everest history by your guide.
Dingboche to Lobuche
Trek across the Khumbu Glacier moraine. Views of Cholatse and Tawoche peaks. Overnight at Lobuche with early bedtime for tomorrow's big day.
Lobuche to Gorak Shep – Kala Patthar
Arrive at Gorak Shep, lunch, then ascend Kala Patthar (5,545m) for sunset over Everest. The most spectacular view of your life.
Everest Base Camp & Helicopter Return
Early morning trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m). Celebration at the iconic rock. Helicopter pick-up to Kathmandu with aerial views of the entire Khumbu.
Kathmandu – Farewell Day
Leisure morning for souvenir shopping or spa. Private farewell dinner hosted by your expedition team.
Departure
Private transfer to the airport. Depart with memories of a lifetime.
