About This Journey
The Langtang Valley, known as the "Valley of Glaciers," offers the most accessible high-altitude trek from Kathmandu. Trek through pristine forests, past yak pastures and Tamang villages to the foot of Langtang Lirung, with an optional ascent of Tserko Ri for a 360-degree panorama.

Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel
Trek through rhododendron and oak forest along the Langtang Khola.
Lama Hotel to Langtang Village

Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa
Continue through yak pastures to the monastery settlement of Kyanjin.
Acclimatization Hike to Tserko Ri

Descend the valley, retracing the trail.
Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi
